Deepika padukone was born January 5, 1986 is an hindi film actress and model.she has established an successful career in Hindi lanuguage films of bollywood, and is sited in the media as one of the most popular and attractive indian celebrities.
- Padukone was born in Copenhagen to Badminton player Prakash Padukone .
- And was raised in Bangalore, as a teenager she played Baseball and Badminton for state and national level championships.

Film debut and breakthrough (2006-09) :
- Padukone announced in 2006 that she would make her screen debut with Indrajit Lankesh's kannada film Aishwarya.
- The film a romantic comedy is a remake of telugu film Manmadhudu.
- In which she was cast in the Titulor role opposite actor Upendra.
- Upon release, the film proved a major commercial success.

- Her first role was in Vijay Lalwani's phychological thriller karthik calling karthik, where padukone was cast as the supported girlfriend of a depressed man who goes through a series of changes after receiving mysterious phone calls every morning.

- Her final appearence that year was in Rohit Dhawan's dramedy Desiboyz alongside akshay kumar , John abraham and Chitrangda singh , a role that failed to propel her career forward.
